Chris Weathington, MHA

Chris serves as Director of Practice Support at North Carolina AHEC with the mission to recruit, train, and retain the state’s health workforce and help primary care and behavioral health practices thrive with value-based care.  Chris previously served in administrative leadership roles at UNC Health, NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC Office of Rural Health), and ECU Health.  Chris is a graduate of UNC Gillings School of Public Health with a Master of Health Administration and Bachelor of Science in Health Policy & Administration.
