Cyril Appiagyei, M.D.

Dr. Appiagyei is a psychiatrist and co-founder of WOVEN Clinics, which focuses on behavioral health integration. His passion for mental healthcare began early, shaped by his experiences working at his parents’ primary care clinic on the South Side of Chicago. While attending medical school at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Appiagyei gained invaluable experience primarily working at the safety net hospital and serving as class president. His leadership continued during his tenure as Outpatient Chief Resident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he focused on enhancing both patient and provider experiences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Appiagyei was selected as an American Psychiatric Association Leadership Fellow during his residency, a role that strengthened his administrative and policy expertise with the goal of improving mental health care systems.”
