Liz Griffin, MSW, LCSW

Liz Griffin is the Manager for Behavioral Health Practice Support at NC AHEC. Her responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of NC AHEC’s Tailored Care Management Technical Assistance initiative in partnership with NC Medicaid and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Liz also provides quality improvement consultation on the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and behavioral health integration in primary care to a statewide team of NC AHEC practice support coaches. Liz’s clinical background includes trauma-informed care, integrated care models, grief counseling and hospice social work, health equity, clinical supervision, and pediatric/adolescent behavioral health. Liz joined NC AHEC in 2013 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
