Throughout her career, Katherine has focused on disseminating innovative outpatient care delivery models, measuring outcomes and quality, and transitioning to value-based reimbursement for behavioral health.
Chris Weathington, MHA
Director, Practice Support | North Carolina AHEC
Chris serves as Director of Practice Support at North Carolina AHEC with the mission to recruit, train, and retain the state’s health workforce and help primary care and behavioral health practices thrive with value-based care. Chris previously served in administrative leadership roles at UNC Health, NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC Office of Rural Health), and ECU Health.
Liz Griffin, MSW, LCSW
Manager, Behavioral Health Practice Support | North Carolina AHEC
Liz Griffin is the Manager for Behavioral Health Practice Support at NC AHEC. Her responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of NC AHEC’s Tailored Care Management Technical Assistance initiative in partnership with NC Medicaid and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Liz also provides quality improvement consultation on the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and behavioral health integration in primary care to a statewide team of NC AHEC practice support coaches.
Cody Hostutler, Ph.D.
Pediatric Primary Care Psychologist | Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Dr. Cody Hostutler is a pediatric primary care psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Ohio State University. Dr. Hostutler’s career is focused on improving the behavioral health (BH) care patients and families receive within their primary care medical home through practice innovation, interprofessional education, and research.
Jason Kenechukwu Onugha, M.D., MPH
Psychiatrist and Co-Founder | Woven Clinics
Jason Onugha, MD, MPH, is a compassionate psychiatrist with a profound commitment to serving underserved populations and advancing public health initiatives. He earned his undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014, followed by an MD-MPH from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2020. He completed his Psychiatry residency at Northwestern University in 2024, where he received specialized training in Collaborative Care Models (CoCM), a testament to his dedication to integrated, population-level mental health care.
Cyril Appiagyei, M.D.
Psychiatrist and Co-Founder | Woven Clinics
Dr. Appiagyei is a psychiatrist and co-founder of WOVEN Clinics, which focuses on behavioral health integration. His passion for mental healthcare began early, shaped by his experiences working at his parents’ primary care clinic on the South Side of Chicago. While attending medical school at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Appiagyei gained invaluable experience primarily working at the safety net hospital and serving as class president.
